What is EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution)

Electronic Brake Force Distribution is a brake technology that automatically varies the amount of force to be applied in each of vehicle’s brake based on some parameters like speed of the car, load in the car, road conditions, weight of the car, weather condition, etc. It actually monitors the vehicle during braking and if it detects you are braking hard and could loose your control then this system varies the brake forces at each wheel accordingly to reduce sliding or skidding of vehicle.
EBD works with ABS to maximize the stopping power along with the control of the vehicle.

What is Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)?

Anti-lock braking system prevents the wheels from locking up while braking. With ABS, you can control the car under heavy breaking and avoid the skid. It also reduces the stopping distance on slippery surface. The main purpose of Anti-lock braking system is to help driver maintain steering control during hard braking.
